EXTENDED DEADLINE: Call for Abstracts – IWA&B 2026
Dear Colleagues and Researchers,
To ensure everyone has the opportunity to present their latest findings at the 12th International Workshop on Anthocyanins & Betalains (IWA&B 2026), we are pleased to announce an extension for abstract submissions.
Please note the new key dates:
- • March 9th, 2026: Deadline for Oral Presentation proposals and Grant Applications for PhD students.
- • March 23rd, 2026: Deadline for Poster submissions.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share your research in the historic city of Salamanca. We look forward to receiving your contributions and seeing you this July!

The best abstracts submitted by PhD students and recent doctors (Thesis presented in 2025) will be awarded with free registration to the IWA&B 2026.
How to Apply
To apply for the grant, after submitting an abstract, applicants must send an email to the organizing committee with the following documentation:
- • Copy of the submitted abstract.
- • Proof of the student status or the PhD Thesis defence in 2025.
- • A commitment letter of their supervisor to cover the student’s travel expenses to attend the conference if they receive the grant.
- • A summary CV (maximum 3 pages).
